From the American People

It's been a great pleasure to work on this film about the Acehnese, 10 years after the Tsunami.

A beautiful place with Inspiring stories and wonderful people.

Here's the trailer. I'll upload the whole film after the premiere this week.

Sponsored by USAID, so we must say thanks to the American People.

I'd also like to thank the great crew who worked with me on this job.

Especially

Suryani Liauw - An incredible Production Manager/Producer whose attention to detail is second to none.

Bella Panggabean - The camera assistant/focus puller extraordinaire. She's only 23 but I am sure she will be Indonesia's greatest female cinematographer one day. Such focus and dedication.

Ernest Haryanto - Surely the best online and colourist in Indonesia. As good as anyone anywhere in the world.

Aline Jusria - Another female working in the Indonesian film world. One of the best!

Suci - She was our fixer and also appears in the film. Her knowledge of Aceh and its people runs deep. There is almost no-one she doesn't know personally and without her there is no way we could have made this film.

Robin Moran and the team at Focused Equipment - Their equipment is incredibly up-to-date and well maintained. The last time I remember seeing their level of equipment maintenance and quality was at Panavision in Australia.

If you're ever working in Indonesia I can't recommend these crew more highly.

Thanks guys (and gals)!
